Americans want Obama to sign disclosure executive order
President Barack Obama has drafted an executive order that would require companies vying for federal contracts to report their campaign contributions and expenditures for all to see, so that the public can judge whether contracts are going just to the big-spending political players. Read the statement Public Citizen President Robert Weissman delivered at a press conference held by good government groups. And, if you haven’t yet, sign the petition to Obama today!
